Methodology of Training

The know-how and experience of New Impuls trainers has shown that most efficient form of preparation is in the form of an interactive training program based action towards the participants on four fundamental levels:

  1. Recognition and realization of one’s strong points and possibilities for improvement.

  2. Creation of will to improvement.

  3. Provision of necessary knowledge, tools and techniques for improvement.

  4. Intensive training of the necessary skills and approaches with emphasis on subsequent application in practice.

Therefore, the project must be practical and specific, based on individual abilities and strong points developed and strengthened interactively in a seminar where:

  • Each participant actively engages at the maximum possible level with his or her own presentation on the given subject, based on experience.

  • Each participant receives regular developmental feedback from the lecturer and colleagues using a video recording.

  • Special teaching aids are used – so-called memo cards.

Types of Groups

A) Interactive training for a group with a maximum recommended number of 10 - 12 people.

During each day of the program, every participant will have multiple opportunities to actively participate in one of the case studies. Participants are active members of discussion forums, are pulled into team management games, evaluate each other and provide development feedback between them.

Together with printed training materials (worksheets, accompanying texts, assignment of case studies), we will provide effective tools for further individual development (for example, memo cards).

Each of the participants in the NI seminar is equipped with a set of support materials (hard paper binders, hard paper cases for memo cards, notepads, pencils, etc.).

B) High-intensity Training in Groups of 4 – 6 Persons.

This mainly involves consultation and coaching approaches to training. Each of the participants is given extra care and ideal use is made of training time. Individual composition of topics can also be agreed upon, based on the personal needs of the participating individuals (mini-groups) and also the timetable can be adapted to the conditions of the client. This type of training is a great alternative either for busy executives or specialists. It can also be  combined with training on weekends.

C) Individual Coaching

Based on the analysis of needs, an individual development plan is created, which consists of approximately 2 – 3 hour long coaching meetings. Great care is given to a detailed analysis of experienced situations and support of the coached individual in finding optimum measures. Appropriate for senior management, salespeople, publicly active persons, etc.

At the end of each day, participants establish priority targets for individual improvement and application of trained knowledge in practice.
Each subsequent training program will begin with a short presentation by each participant and discussions with others on the subject of the application of knowledge and implementation of the objectives of the previous module in practice.
For supporting and measuring of results, the participants, after the completion of each day, will present improvement goals to their direct superior in writing and agree on regular contact and checking whether there is improvement or measurable change.
